The Procedure Handbook of Arc Welding:
This is our go-to resource of choice.  It is full of useful information from welding history to estimating material and labor costs.  It includes hundreds of welding procedures for different arc welding processes, helpful guides in selecting the right filler metal for different alloys and detailed explanation on how the difference arc welding processes work.

Qualification of Welding Procedures, Welders and Welding Operators (Electronic File)

If you are using AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Guide (Steel) to qualify welding procedures and welders this guide provides step-by-step instructions.  Following AWS D1.1 can be complicate if you have no experience using this code. This guide makes the complex task of complying to D1.1 for qualification of welding procedures and welders a breeze. The step-by-step instructions and real life examples help you by telling exactly what to do to perform qualifications. AWS D1.1/D1.1M:2015 Structural Welding Code – Steel

The New D1.1 spells out the requirements for design, procedures, qualifications, fabrication, inspection and repair of steel structures made of tubes, plate and structural shapes that are subject to either static or cyclic loading.
